Media Consumption

Newspaper-

I read 'The Sun' every few days to gain all the knowledge and news of everyday life all around the world. The first section of the newspaper I turn to would definitely be the sports category because it interests me the most and I enjoy reading it so I can read it more often. My mother usually purchases these newspapers. I find them at home all the time so I decide to read them and see what interests me. One other section I like to read is the front pages with the most important or the headlines of the newspaper because this is usually is the most story that has gained publicity or attention because it is getting the most recognition.

Cinema-

Cinema is a big part of my life I really enjoy going to the cinema whenever there is a good movie or something interesting that I promise myself I have to watch. One recent movie I watched was The 'Inbetweeners 2' over the summer holidays which was a comedy that really attracted me especially seeing as I've watched all the episodes of the programme. Another movie I've watched recently over the summer holidays was '22 Jumpstreet' which was also a comedy. Comedy is a genre that always seems to pull me because of my addiction to laugh and enjoy a movie.

Internet-

Internet is definitely a part of media that I consume every single day. I use the internet of different everyday purposes For example for entertainment I.e. YouTube or just information that I wish to gain information for example Google or Wikipedia. I use these types of media everyday because I really find them useful especially when I'm trying to research something. Also sites such as Facebook or Twitter which are both social networking sites that i use for entertainment these two sites are very entertaining and addictive parts of social media.

Television-

Television is also another part of the media that I use everyday. This is an aspect of Media that I use everyday. I usually watch sky for any football matches I also watch free view too including channels like BBC ONE. I usually watch 3 hours of television everyday after studying and eating dinner until I fall as
leep. I find TV definitely one of the biggest sources of entertainment out there alongside the internet.
